Activating your license key

Your license key is emailed to you after you buy. Click the CL Pro Search icon beside your address bar, then click Click Here to enter your license key, just below CL Pro Search License Options. Paste the key from your email and click Activate. One license can be active on up to five browsers at once.

Step by step

  1. Find the email with your license key. It is not shown on the thank-you page after checkout; email is the only place it is delivered, so keep that message. If it hasn’t arrived after a few minutes, check your spam folder.
  2. Click the CL Pro Search icon beside your address bar.
  3. Just below CL Pro Search License Options, click Click Here to enter your license key.
  4. Paste the license key from your email. Keys begin with CPS-.
  5. Click Activate. The popup then shows License: Annual or License: Lifetime.

If the popup says the key has a typo in it, or does not look like a CL Pro Search key, copy it again from your email and paste it without adding or dropping any characters.

Using one license on several browsers

A license may be active on five installations at once, and each browser you install CL Pro Search into counts as one. Enter your key in each one. Activating a sixth does not lock you out: the least recently used activation is retired to make room. You can reactivate a retired installation whenever you like, which in turn retires whichever one is then oldest.

Your license key is a credential and it is yours. Do not publish it, sell it or pass it to anyone else.

Staying activated

About once a week, when you open the popup, the extension quietly confirms that your license is still valid. Your license works offline in between, and a check that fails does not lock you out. The check sends your license key and a random install ID, and nothing about the pages you have visited. More about your privacy.

When a 1-year license ends

A 1-year license runs for 365 days from the date of purchase and then simply stops. Nothing renews automatically. We email you a reminder about 30 days before it ends, and if you want another year, you buy another year. Upgrading from a 1-year license to a lifetime license is a new, separate purchase at the current lifetime price.
