Common questions
Is CL Pro Search free?
CL Pro Search is free to try. A single allowance covers 5 saved listings, 10 noted listings and 5 craigslist deduplications, and reaching any one of them ends the free period for all three. After that, you can choose a 1-year license for $9.99 or a lifetime license for just $19.99 USD, paid one time. Anything you’ve already saved or noted during your free allowance will remain accessible. More about the free allowance.
Which sites does it work on?
Craigslist, AutoTrader, CarGurus, Cars.com and Classics on Autotrader. Notes, saving listings and the Viewed, Note and Saved markers work on all five. Hiding duplicate ads works on craigslist only, in every category.
Does it send my browsing history to you?
No. The part of the extension that runs on listing pages never contacts Cool Apps LLC. Your searches, the listings you look at, your notes and your saved listings stay on your own computer. More about your privacy.
Where are my saved listings kept?
In your Downloads folder, in a folder named CLProSearch. Each saved listing is one file with its photos inside it, and it stays on your computer after the ad is taken down and after you uninstall the extension. Finding saved listings.
Does a license renew automatically?
No. No card is kept on file and nothing is ever charged again unless you go through checkout yourself. A one-year license simply stops at the end of its term, and we email a reminder about 30 days before.
How many browsers can one license be used on?
Up to five at once. Activating a sixth does not lock you out: the least recently used activation is retired to make room. Activating your license key.
Why does my card statement say LINK.COM?
Payments are handled by Link as merchant of record, so your statement reads LINK.COM rather than CL Pro Search or Cool Apps LLC. That is expected and is not an unauthorized charge.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. If you ask within 14 days of purchase, we will approve a refund without asking why. Link handles the refund itself. More about refunds.
I lost my license key. What do I do?
Enter the email address you bought with on the key recovery page and we will resend every active key for that address. Recovering a lost key.
