Saving a listing before it’s taken down

Open the listing, click My Notes in the bottom-right corner, then click Save or Update Listing. A complete copy of the ad is saved as one file in your Downloads folder, in a folder named CLProSearch.
The file is yours. It stays on your computer after the post is taken down, and after you uninstall the extension.
What the saved file contains
- Up to 100 photographs, embedded inside the file itself rather than linked to the site, so they keep working when the ad comes down.
- The price, the description, the listing’s details and the seller’s details.
- Any note you wrote on the listing.
- On a used-vehicle listing, a Check Vehicle History button.

Updating a saved listing
If the seller changes the ad, or you add to your note, open the listing and click Save or Update Listing again. The panel tells you when a listing is already saved, and updating it is free: it does not use another of your free saves.
When you save a note on a listing you have already saved, the panel reminds you to click Save or Update Listing so the note in your saved file is updated too.
What happens when you click Save
To put real photographs in the file, the extension asks that listing’s own site for the listing’s photos at the moment you click. Those requests go to the site you are saving from, never to us, and carry no cookies. We never see, receive or keep a copy of anything you save. More about your privacy.
How many listings you can save for free
The free allowance includes 5 saved listings. Reaching that limit ends the free period, and saving new listings then needs a license. Everything you already saved stays available: you can still open it, find it and read your notes. More about the free allowance.
